I first met Alice and James in January to have a chat about their wedding day. They were so excited about getting married and were telling me all about their plans for the Wedfest and the place where they planned to get married, which was a family home in Canterbury, Kent. Alice and James were telling me about meadows, hay bales, fields, camping site for their guests and I could already imagine the relaxed vibe and atmosphere of the day. And that’s exactly what their wedding day was all about – having fun with friends and family, chilling and celebrating. There was also something very special and personal about getting married in a place which belongs to the family, and what a beautiful place it was! We were very lucky with the sunshine and the gardens were in full bloom, which made for a perfect setting. I admired all the effort Alice and James put into planning their Wedfest. Many friends and family contributed by making decorations for the marquee, arranging flowers and baking cakes (which were out of this world delicious!), which made the day even more special.
