THE ORANGERY HOLLAND PARK, LONDON WEDDING – JOANNA&MARK

I’d known Mark and Joanna for a while before they asked me to photograph their wedding. We met at a few photography events and get-togethers, and always had a good chat about all things photography and weddings. Mark is a photographer himself. No pressure for me on his wedding day then! I never photographed a wedding in The Orangery Holland Park before, and I was really looking forward to Joanna and Mark’s big day)) I started capturing the day when Joanna was getting ready at the Royal Garden Hotel. She got the complimentary upgrade to a penthouse room the night before – what a lucky girl! I loved the calm atmosphere of the morning, and was a pleasure to work with a talented Jeni Dodson again, who was doing Joanna’s make-up and hair. I absolutely loved Joanna’s dress – a stunning Jenny Packham gown. It suited her perfectly! A short taxi ride brought us to The Orangery for the ceremony, which was very sweet. Jo and Mark just couldn’t stop smiling, and I could see how happy everyone was for them. The fun continued through the cocktail hour, after which I took Joanna and Mark to the beautiful rose garden for portraits)) The whole day just flowed so effortlessly.
