The Olde Bell inn in a picturesque village of Hurley was the perfect setting for Patricia and Phil’s beautiful spring wedding in May. A venue full of character, it really reflected their personalities and provided a beautiful place for a relaxed celebration with friends and family.
It all started in the morning when the bride was getting ready. I loved the calm atmosphere and three little flower girls, who were calling themselves bridesmaids)) I loved Patricia’s style and her impeccable taste. She wore a Vivienne Westwood dress complete with a pair of satin Lanvin shoes, and looked stunning! An old route master bus brought the guests to the ceremony in a small church in Marlow. The ceremony was very sweet and had a perfect intimate feel. I always like the anticipation beforehand, mixed with last minute nerves, and how the nerves just disappear afterwards, leaving everyone so excited about the day ahead)) The sun came out straight after the ceremony just in time for a boat trip along the Thames back to The Olde Bell. People walking along the river were waving at the bride and groom, guests were enjoying champagne & strawberries and gorgeous views of the fields and villages. Dapper Dudes were playing swing style music when everyone arrived back for the reception. Marquee looked beautiful decorated with flowers by Scarlet & Violet and huge LOVE letters provided by Vowed and Amazed . Beautiful cakes were made by ‘Cake by Rachel’ and decorated with fresh flowers. Speeches were heartfelt and I loved with how much love and admiration Philip spoke about Patricia)) Celebrations carried on into the night and what a beautiful night it was. Huge congratulations to my lovely, lovely couple! Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world xxx
