Where do I even begin with this wedding. It was simply beautiful. Beautiful because of two people who were getting married, and beautiful because of the people who were there to witness it. Stephanie and Gary put so much thought into their day and made it so personal. Stephanie's closest family travelled from the USA, and it made their wedding day extra special. It was emotional, it was sweet, it was happy. Stephanie was getting ready in the Dodmoor House bridal suite together with her best friend. It was a calm and relaxed morning. Love her mug on which she wrote with a chalk 'Soon to be Mrs. Hudston' :)
While the bride was having her hair and make-up done, I photographed some pretty details and flowers around the venue. Stephanie chose succulents for her bouquet and table centrepieces, and pastel pink hyacinth for the bridesmaid's posy. Hyacinth flowers were also put on the chairs in the ceremony room, which they filled with such a gorgeous smell of spring! Gary's and best men buttonholes were also made of miniature succulents. I loved the escort cards which were covering a big canvas image of Stephanie&Gary from their pre-wedding shoot. So cute!
Getting ready, nerves kicking in, best men arriving, beautiful ceremony:
Onto the evening reception, during which a magician was entertaining the guests, delicious food was served, emotional words were said:
After the speeches all the guests were invited to share the sweet table. Stephanie and Gary also saw it for the first time after the speeches, and I love Stephanie's reaction! It looked stunning, and smelled divine! It was a huge hit with guests, and everyone was taking photos and tasting delicious desserts. Guests were mingling, chatting and laughing. Evening entertainment started shortly with a band playing, followed by a comedy act, which had everyone in stitches.
Stephanie and Gary - it was such a pleasure to photograph your day! Thank you for having me along! Congratulations on the start of new journey. Love each other more every day))
Hope you enjoyed looking through the images, and maybe some will even give you ideas for your own wedding)) Feel free to leave some love for the beautiful couple in the comments ;)
