I first met Jacquie and Tony at the beginning of the year to chat about photographing their London elopement. We got a coffee in a cute Islington cafe and chatted about their marriage, wedding party planning in Italy, football, their home and plans for the first look. It all sounded very exciting and I couldn't wait to see them both again at the end of June! It was the first elopement I ever photographed, and I loved every minute of it! Jacquie and Tony wanted a stress free intimate day and they definitely achieved it. They got ready together until the point when Jacquie put on her dress, and then they did the First Look (seen each other before the ceremony) in their first home together. It was very sweet)) Then they got married in the Islington Town Hall, which is only a stone's throw from their home. After an emotional and intimate ceremony (where I also got to be their witness!) they went home, packed their bags and took a cab to St Pancras to catch a Eurostar to Paris... Le sigh!
Huge congratulations, guys! Thank you so much for having me there to document such a special day for you, and also for having me as your witness! :) Hope you had an amazing time in Italy! x
