IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE...

I love Christmas and New Year holidays)) I'm looking forward to celebrations and that happy feeling every year. We always go home for Christmas to spend time with family, and I'm really really excited! This year is a little different and extra special, as it will be our little nephew's first Christmas! I'm looking forward to long evenings in front of the fireplace, chatting until late over Irish coffees, country walks on crisp winter days, sleeping until afternoon and excessive eating, and snuggling with our dog. We don't really decorate our flat in London. We put a few lights up, but that's about it. I do feel the spirit, but for us the holiday truly begins when we arrive home, and it's all ready for Christmas and we give everyone a big hug. I used to love decorating the tree when I lived with my parents. We had a box of toys and baubles which were used every year. There were less of them every time, as some would break, which made every single one of them more precious. There were pictures of kids' cartoons on some of them, and other ones looked like vegetables :) They would probably be called vintage now, or retro. I've put together a few images I found on Pinterest of how I would decorate my house (one day). Warm and cosy, with that light nostalgic feeling of childhood memories))
