I've been sitting in front of my screen for what feels like forever, trying to come up with a title for the last blog post of this year. I knew what I wanted to say, I just couldn't put it into a few words. As 2012 comes to its end, I've been reflecting more and more on what it meant for me. It's been such an amazing year, and I say that without exaggeration. Yesterday my hubby and I were remembering all the positive things that happened, and we were both surprised there were quite a few)) The biggest event was hands down the birth of our nephew in January. He has just started to take his first steps, and we can't wait to see him over Christmas holidays! One of the latest memorable moments was seeing the sun go down over the sea in Dorset together with my husband. Moments worth living for. Sometimes we can get caught up in routine and every day life, and I think it's so important to remember the positives to see the bigger picture. Thinking of 2012 certainly puts a smile on my face! It's been a massive year for me personally and for my little business. I've grown as a photographer, and every day I tried to be better. I rebranded half a way through the year, and changed my business name to my personal name. I wanted my business to feel more personal and more 'me', and I hope I achieved that. I met some wonderful people, and photographed their beautiful weddings all over UK and abroad. Thank you to all my couples for trusting me to capture one of the most important days in their lives. I am ever so grateful. Every one of my couples helped me grow as a person and enriched my life through experiences I had. I loved looking through weddings and couples' shoots to select my favourite images from 2012. My favourite photographs are always of those tiny special moments, slices of life, genuine happiness and love. It's what it's all about for me.
Thank you so much 2012. I'm looking forward to what the new year holds in store! A dreamer in me is all excited :) To all my family, friends, clients and people who read my blog - happy holidays! See you in 2013 ;)
