When I asked Alex and Roy to describe themselves and what kind of feeling they would like reflected in their photographs, they said 'Rolex'. Their names combined in one word, each a strong individual, but completing each other perfectly like ying and yang. Their beautiful wedding day was a true reflection of their warm and outgoing personalities, centered around their love and affection for each other and their close-knit families. Beautiful ceremony in the cathedral was followed by a relaxed and intimate celebration in Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury (home to naked gardeners!). Guests were enjoying champagne and drinks on a warm September day before moving to a candlelit marquee for speeches and delicious meal. Lots of people were throwing shapes on the dancefloor when I left the party. Thrill Collins, a skiffle-pop trio got everyone on their feet and were absolutely brilliant. Alex is also a photographer and I really enjoyed working with her throughout the planning process and especially on the wedding day. She approached everything with great attention to detail and did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed getting to know Roy and Alex and loved capturing their beautiful wedding day)) They are just so natural with each other, which made my job easy :)
