SPRING WEDDING IN KENT

Running a business and working on your own can get a little lonely, so sometimes we photographers team up and photograph weddings together for fun. Earlier in May I joined the ever so lovely Helen Cawte to help her shoot Cat and Joshua's wedding in beautiful Kent countryside near Ashford. If you remember we didn't have the best of springs this year, but on he 4th of May the sun shone for us and it was just such a gorgeous day. Cat and Joshua got married in the All Saints' Church in Boughton Aluph and had their reception at the same place. It was one of the most stunning churches I'd ever seen with high ceilings and huge windows, allowng everything inside be wrapped by natural light. Addition of living blossom trees inside made the whole place light and airy, and just magical. This time I followed the groom around whilst Helen was with the bride. Boys' mornings are so different on the wedding day! They certainly don't sit for hours getting their hair and make-up done :) I loved a big pretend wedding ring the best man had for the ceremony. The idea was to put it in front of Cat during the ceremony instead of the real one. It worked and everyone had a good laugh)) Here is how the day panned out:
