Elegant and classic London wedding at the luxury Claridge's Hotel in Mayfair - Margo and Ed.
I do love a London wedding! Margo and Ed chose the beautiful Claridge's Hotel as a location for their spring city wedding. Situated in London's Mayfair, this art deco luxury hotel certainly provided a special setting. With Margo's family being from Australia, guests came from all over the world for the celebration. Margo included special reminders of home by using fragrant white hydrangeas in table centrepieces and the cake, as her parents have hydrangeas growing in their garden in Australia. I loved Margo's classic understated style. She looked stunning in her Augusta Jones dress completed with a white peony bouquet. London holds a special place in this couple's hearts, as they met here a few years ago. They used black London cabs as their transport, and a vintage red routemaster bus to bring the guests from the Savoy Chapel, where the ceremony took place, to Claridge's for the reception. Despite quite a formal setting, the wedding day had a relaxed atmosphere and everyone was enjoying a good catch-up whilst having champagne and delicious food. Claridge's is famous for its unparalleled service and they certainly look after their couples and guests. I said my good-byes when the evening party was well under way. Great music was provided by The Capricorns. Huge congratulations to my lovely couple! It was a pleasure to be your photographer at Claridge's.
