Bradbourne House, a venue set in a beautiful Kentish countryside provided a perfect backdrop to Heather and Alan's relaxed and fun wedding. They put a lot of thought into making the day their own, and it was full of references to things that meant something to them. They used London cabs and a routemaster bus for transport as they met in London and live there now. Heather and Alan's keen interest in space was reflected in the table names and their first dance song "Fly Me to the Moon". Heather made all the cakes herself and designed a beautiful dessert table. I loved the cute giraffes as a wedding cake topper! Favours were a mix of wild flower seeds to encourage bees, as Heather and Alan own some bees. Delicious BBQ added to the relaxed summer vibe of the day, and I also liked the idea of 'do it yourself' ice creams for dessert. Guests could choose from a variety of toppings and it looked amazing. It was my first time photographing a wedding at Bradbourne House, and I loved exploring the grounds scouting locations for the couple's portraits. There certainly were plenty to choose from - a beautiful orchard, mature trees, meadows and a stream running nearby. Heather and Alan couldn't have chosen a better day to get married on - the sun was out all day, and we had beautiful golden light in the evening. Thank you to my lovely couple for having me as part of their wedding day! I loved every minute :)
