Destination Chateau Lagorce wedding in Bordeaux, France - Michelle and Rob.

Michelle and Rob got married in the beautiful Château Lagorce nestled amongst the vineyards in the Dordogne region of France. Chateau Lagorce is a lovingly restored 15th century castle south east of Bordeaux. If you love period original features combined with rustic French charm, this is the wedding venue for you. Michelle and Rob's wedding took place almost 3 years ago and I can't quite believe how quick the time has gone by! It has received a lot of love and has been featured on wedding blogs and in magazines in the USA, UK and Asia. If you are planning an elegant and chic, yet relaxed wedding in France, or some other destination, and need a little inspiration - this is it! A few details about the day - Rob proposed to Michelle in Provence, so when time came to make a decision about where to get married, there wasn't even a question - France. Michelle designed her wedding weddings dress and worked closely with Lisa Redman's team to have it made. Her shoes were a limited edition pair by Brian Atwood. She completed the look with a vintage veil and a headpiece, which she made out of her great grandmother's necklace.  Michelle collected vintage china, and also mismatched glass vases for flowers, which were arranged by her friends on the day. Her bouquet consisted of roses, lilly-of-the-valley and sweet peas and smelled amazing! Rob's suit was made by Richard James on Savile Row, and his shoes were from Mr.Hare.
