Cheryll and Bernard lived in London for 10 years before they relocated back to Malaysia. They love the city and come back here regularly to visit friends. This time around they decided to have some photos taken for sentimental reasons, and also because Cheryll had a beautiful dress with her, so why not?! We decided on Primrose Hill as the location for their portrait photoshoot to keep it colourful and bright. The weather was absolutely perfect, and with the warm sunshine it felt like summer. We wandered the streets in search of blossom and beautiful light. Blossom petals fell with the light spring breeze, and from afar it appeared as if it was snowing. Every time we rushed to the tree though the wind subsided, so in the end we had to create our own 'snow'. It was great fun and we had a good laugh. The things you do for a perfect photo! We took a break in the Primrose Bakery and indulged in their delicious cupcakes. Their candy floss colours inside and a bright yellow exterior were perfect for a few portraits as well. Then we wandered off to Regents Park where we wrapped things up with a few more blossom shots. The blossom is all but gone now, and I'm so glad we got to capture its fleeting and fragile beauty. Photographing Cheryll and Bernard was an absolute joy. It felt like I was hanging out with old friends. The kind that you may not see for a long time, but when you do you still have lots to talk about)) I loved capturing their time in London.
