Autumn wedding at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire, Cotswolds wedding photographer.
Eastnor Castle near Ledbury was the venue of choice for C and A's early autumn wedding last year. The castle is located at the foot of Malvern Hills on the edge of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by beautiful woodland and lake, Eastnor Castle is still a family home, and despite its grand and dramatic design still creates a 'big house party' atmosphere for a wedding.
My couple's wedding was planned around their family and friends, and things that had meaning to them both. I particularly liked their choice of readings, one of which was Bob Marley's "Is This Love". After an intimate church service, bride and groom were followed back to the venue by the guests. The church was only a short walk to Eastnor Castle, and everyone enjoyed a stroll with champagne in hand. Guests were greeted by the stunning views of the lake and the rolling hills bathed in sunshine. Dinner was followed by heartfelt and emotional speeches from the bride's mum and younger brother (who was a huge help on the day and even helped her into the dress!), and drinks outside at dusk to the sound of swallows living in the castle's roof.
The lucky bride wore not one but two beautiful dresses on the day. A custom made white gown made by Belinda at Beyond Burlesque, which she complemented with a cathedral veil and a bouquet of dusky pink and peachy flowers by Bamboo Florist. The evening gown was a stunning embellished number by Eliza Jane Howell. The transformation was very fitting for the evening party and dancing the night away!
