Aisling and Anand
Fallon and Byrne city wedding in Dublin, Ireland.
Aisling and Anand celebrated their wedding at Fallon and Byrne - a fantastic wedding venue right in the heart of Dublin city. Whether you are planning a cosy candlelit reception, or a lush elegant wedding, their ballroom is a space you can truly make your own. Aisling and Anand left the space at Fallon and Byrne pretty much as it was, opting for a minimalist look with a few personal touches dotted throughout.
The couple wanted to have a wedding that represented them, so they focused on their families and friends having a good time, good food and music. The bride and groom chose Fallon and Byrne in Dublin as they love having parties and wanted their wedding to feel more like a dinner party, rather than a traditional event. Fallon and Byrne is the obvious Dublin venue choice for foodies. Cocktail reception and heartfelt speeches took place in the quirky wine cellar. There wasn't a dry eye in the house!
Aisling and Anand met in Cork, where they go to a jazz festival every year. They wanted the evening part of the wedding to be a cocktail party with live jazz, for which they chose the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse, from which you can see panoramic views of the city and Dublin Mountains.
It was a casual and relaxed celebration, with two families coming together, getting to know each other and having a great time. I absolutely loved Aisling and Anand's informal approach and that they focused on things that mattered to them. Their humanist ceremony was very personal with both mums sharing readings and an acoustic sing-along for the guests at the end of the ceremony. I must also note that Aisling looked stunning in her beaded Needle&Thread gown from Brown Thomas.
