Ballymagarvey Village winter wedding in Balrath, Meath.
Photographing Aoife and Daniel's winter wedding at Ballymagarvey Village - one of the best wedding venues in Meath, was an absolute pleasure. Not only they were an absolutely wonderful couple head over heels in love, but their families were so welcoming and we had the most magical winter day, so my job was easy really.
Aoife and Daniel held their wedding reception in the beautiful stone barn at Ballymagarvey Village. The venue changes the decor to suit the time of the year, and the hall was beautifully decorated , creating a cosy and intimate feeling for a winter wedding in December. Candles were lit and there was an abundance of twinkle lights inside and in the gardens. Thick winter fog added to the magical feel of the day and provided us with the most incredible light for couple's portraits, especially for the evening photo above with the famous Ballymagarvey chandeliers! The bride and groom involved family and friends as much as they could - they made the wedding cake, the guest book and created flower arrangements. Aoife and Daniel named the table after some of the places they travelled to and loved, and that were special to them.
Aoife and Dan said prior to the wedding that planning their day never felt pressurised or like a chore. It was a real labour of love and an organic process. It showed on their beautiful wedding day, which was relaxed and filled with love and personal touches.
