"Hi Dasha! Thank you so much for the photos! We went through all of them together last night and they are fabulous. We really love the slideshow selection. It really captures the whole day for us in a beautiful natural way. It is also lovely to see all the photos you took of our guests. We really appreciate how easy you were to work with on the day and we will definitely be recommending you to all of our friends!" ~ Ellen and Michael
Ellen and Michael planned a family oriented winter wedding and chose Meath wedding venue Clonabreany House for their reception. It was a perfect location for a fun loving and easy going couple to celebrate their marriage, and they took me along for a few hours to capture their wedding day for them. Ellen comes from a family of photographers, so natural wedding photography which allowed their personalities to come through was highly important to both the bride and groom. There was absolutely no pressure (none whatsoever...), but I think from the review above I can tell they were happy with how their wedding photographs came out.
For a winter wedding in Ireland we had the most perfect light for all the photos. The spirit of Christmas and festive season was in the air, which added to the wonderful atmosphere on the day. I love how elegant and understated Ellen's dress by Suzanne Neville was, and Michael looked rather dapper in a tweed suit.
Ellen's family is from Meath and was great to photograph a wedding so local. Clonabreany House is a very short drive from home! A unique Irish country house in the heart of Meath countryside it offers a beautiful setting for weddings whatever your theme or plans as you can really make the venue your own. The bride and groom went for quirky winter decor with pine cones, wood and lots of diy touches, whilst keeping the overall feel very elegant.
