Real wedding inspiration posts are back! If you are in the process of planning a country house wedding in Meath or Ireland, check out this moodboard from a real wedding I photographed last year. Apart from the details they may inspire a certain feel for the day, a particular photo, give an idea for portrait location etc. I hope you will find them helpful, or if not at least a feast for the eyes :)
The wedding took place on the longest day of the summer. Having this in mind Pamela and Will went for textural floral arrangements in shades of green, sage, light pinks and whites. I designed the flowers together with Pamela and we also added some ferns and foraged cow parsley and daisies for movement and natural look. We used coral charm peonies, scabiosa, sweet peas, nigella, delphiniums, larkspur, David Austin roses and the first of the season's dahlias. With those I created sort of 'gathered' garden style bouquets and table centerpieces. For the top table we hired a mismatched selection of vintage brown glass bottles which we filled with the same flowers and foliage. I think Pamela's bouquet complemented her beautiful crochet lace dress and she looked stunning.
