"Dasha did a wonderful job with our wedding photos. I literally wept with joy when I first saw the images. She captured the day with such warmth. We have had so many compliments on the photos. We also loved working with Dasha - she is incredibly detailed, professional and thoughtful. Could not recommend her enough!"

Modern couple gets married in an intimate ceremony at the Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin city center.
My calendar is usually filled with Saturday weddings in Irish country house wedding venues, castles and luxury hotels. However, every now and again I love shooting small humanist wedding ceremonies in intimate places like the Smock Alley Theatre. If you are engaged and looking for a unique venue with history for your Dublin city wedding, Smock Alley may be just the place for you. Located along the banks of the Liffey river, the Banquet Hall with big stained glass windows and exposed brick walls can provide a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony or a candlelit dinner reception. The great thing about this location is that it's almost like a blank canvas and you can truly make the space your own. It can look a little quirky if you want it to, or luxurious filled with lush flowers and tall candles on tables.
The bride and groom said their vows to each other and had a hand fasting ceremony in the theatre, followed by a stroll through the cobbled streets of Temple Bar for photos before walking across Ha'penny Bridge to the Woollen Mills to join their guests for drinks and food.
Sarah was also my first bride who wore a jumpsuit! I loved it! It looked elegant and understated, had a dramatic low back and she looked absolutely fabulous! She went for a loose meadow style bouquet and all the flowers at the Theatre were designed by Fleur Weddings
It was such a pleasure to capture Sarah and Tom's intimate wedding in Dublin. Thank you so much to the lovely bride and groom for having me as their photographer. Some personal favourite images to follow below:
