Spring Black Tie Wedding in Killarney

“We loved the pictures by the way! They are exactly what I wanted! Thanks so much!”

Niamh & Oz

Niamh and Oz got in touch with me just 6 months before their wedding day. Luckily I was available for their date, we hit it off and I was delighted they booked me to capture their wedding day in Killarney in April. I photographed Niamh’s brother’s wedding 2 years prior and it’s always nice when siblings and other family get in touch when their turn comes, because they loved the photos so much :)

Photography was very important to the couple. Niamh wrote in the enquiry form “Photos tell stories and help us to remember memories and connect us to my past. They remind me of how we felt and all the people and places that' have featured in our life.” I absolutely loved that and it epitomises why I do what I do. They also wanted to have photos that capture natural moments between family and friends, so needless to say I was looking forward to their wedding day.

They couldn’t have picked a better date, as it felt more like summer in April. The sun was shining, the cherry blossom was in flower and everyone was outside soaking it all in!

I knew Niamh was my type of bride when she kicked off the pair of sparkly Louboutins to walk on grass barefoot to get photos by the cherry blossom! Her Galia Lahav gown with intricate detail and shoulder bows really suited her and Oz looked dapper in dark green velvet suit.

It was the most chilled wedding with everything taking place on site. It was an absolute pleasure working with this couple and I wish them many years of happiness!
