Luttrellstown Castle is an exclusive wedding venue located close to Dublin. If you are looking for a unique castle venue for your wedding in Ireland, Luttrellstown may just be the spot!

The venue provides beautifully decorated spaces like ballrooms, reception rooms and a library for wedding ceremonies, reception or any celebration event. The rooms are bright and full of light.

Despite looking very grand from the outside, Luttrellstown Castle is actually compact and cosy inside, so your guests can enjoy the wedding celebrations together, without being scattered all over.

When Natasha and Alan got in touch with me about photography for their wedding day, they said they wanted a classic and very natural style of images. I think their informal approach paired with the black tie dress code worked very well in Luttrellstown.

The wedding took place in August on quite a warm day. Wedding guests were enjoying a reception music band, canapes and drinks on the front lawn whilst taking in the view of the magnificent castle.

We used the extensive castle grounds for both family photos and couple’s portraits. Luttrellstown is surrounded by mature trees, which works very well if you need to seek shade. And I also made sure to take lots of photos of the bride and groom with the castle to capture the sense of their wedding location. We split the photos into several stages so they could spend as much time with their guests as possible.
