Black Tie Summer Luttrellstown Castle Wedding

“Can I just say, wow!! We did as you suggested, and made a night of it yesterday evening and it honestly made our week. The photos are just perfect, everyone looks so happy and we are thrilled with how they turned out - you are ridiculously talented! Thank you for getting these over to us so quickly as well, we are going to have so much fun looking back on them in years to come. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be with us on our wedding day. You put us at ease, and are such a lovely presence to be around. A true professional! Thank you again for everything” ~ Jessica & Sean

Instead of doing my own write up for this beautiful wedding, I’ll just share the bride’s words and let the photos do the talking :)

“I'm from Galway and Sean is from Dublin city - it's a miracle we crossed paths to be honest! We met over 5 years ago and got engaged in April 2021 and have been enjoying our engagement bubble since then and just soaking it all up! We always said we'd never get married in Castle as they can be quite dark, but we visited Luttrellstown on a whim and fell in love with it. It's more of a house kind of feel inside, and we really can't wait to get married there. We have a 2 year old Labrador named Sully too, and he will also be making an appearance for an hour to take some photos with us!

Our wedding is going to be very...: Elegant, yet relaxed and most of all a bit of fun! Myself and Sean are limiting the guest list to 100 people so that we can really enjoy our time with the people we love most. It's super important that we have time to enjoy the day and we aren't spending too much time doing staged photos etc. We are doing a first look before the ceremony so we hope to get some photos done then, and only have a few to do after the ceremony so we can have fun at our drinks reception!

Why is photography important to you?: It's honestly the most important supplier that we are booking, along with our videographer Emma from Edithouse. You recently did Natasha & Alan’s Luttrellstown Wedding and the photos were beautiful - so relaxed yet very professional. I love how they are bright and airy yet not overly edited either. The style is very us!

Describe the day: The wedding is black tie and I’ve chosen quite a soft and neutral colour palette for the flowers and decor so that everything is quite classic and timeless - but to be honest there is no set theme! What I hope will make the day very “us”, is that everything feels relaxed and there’s plenty of food and good music. Two things that we both want from the day is firstly, to make sure we have some quality time throughout the day to just soak it all up as the two of us. Secondly, it’s really important that we get to enjoy as much time as possible at our drinks reception, and we aren’t away for too long during this time.
