October Wedding In Cloughjordan House

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s so lovely to be able to relive the day through the photos. Parts I hadn’t even remembered!! They are truly magical & thank you again for capturing our dream day!”

~ Kate & Shane

To say Kate and Shane were excited about getting married in the fabulous Cloughjordan House is an understatement! Kate put a lot of thought into the details of the day, but ultimately what was important to them was to capture natural moments and time with their loved ones.

They didn’t want a typical autumnal colour palette and went for taupe, pastel and soft mocha vibes with the flowers and decor. Lots of candles to create a warm and cosy atmosphere for the wedding reception, with flowers draping and cascading off the tables. The table sitting plan was made up with lots of photos of all the guests, which created great talking points throughout the day. As the bride is a singer, music was also extremely important, and Kate’s sister and brother sang in the church during the ceremony, which was so beautiful and emotional for everyone. Even I welled up behind the camera!

Cloughjordan is one of my absolute favourite wedding venues in Ireland in any season. In October the wisteria on the front of the house turns red which makes for stunning backdrop. We were lucky with the weather and the drinks reception was on the lawn outside! Who could’ve predicted that for October in Ireland :)
