The brief for Nicola and Billy’s wedding photos was to capture very natural happy moments between family and friends, photos that show the couple’s personality and moments of connection. My job is always to observe and capture as much of the sense of celebration for the couple as possible, and it was just so easy with Nicola and Billy. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny August day and got the couple’s photos done as golden hour with Luttrellstown Castle providing the striking backdrop. We used the library for the bridal party photos and the grand staircase with beautiful window light to capture the sense of setting and location. The bride and groom also got to see the Van Stry ballroom before guests were called for dinner, which meant they had a couple of quiet moments to themselves whilst taking it all in. An absolute pleasure to be a part of this beautiful wedding in one of best wedding venues in Ireland.
