Black Tie Cashel Palace Wedding
Where do I even start with Aisling and Niall’s stunning wedding in Cashel Palace?! Whilst I stayed at the hotel before as a guest, this was the first wedding I captured in this stunning venue and wow, what a day it was! From the couple’s beaming smiles, to sunshine lighting up the Rock of Cashel, to Jo Petit and the Dreamband providing the tunes throughout the day and absolutely epic dancing - the energy and love of this wedding was unmatched!
This is how the bride described the vision for the day beforehand: “The most important thing to Niall and myself is making everyone feel welcome and loved, bringing everyone together and allowing everyone to escape with us to our bubble of bliss for the day. The day should be a reminder of just how lucky we all are to have so many people that care about us! We love dancing and music so there will be lots of this. Cashel Palace staff and grounds truly speak for themselves and we are so delighted this is our venue as we feel it represents everything we love!”

Originally built in 1732 as a bishop’s palace, Cashel Palace is a beautiful example of Palladian architecture. The building has been exquisitely restored and reimagined as a five-star hotel, while preserving its historic charm. Overlooking the iconic Rock of Cashel, the venue offers breathtaking views for the wedding ceremony, drinks reception and photos.
The hotel features several indoor and outdoor ceremony options, including beautiful gardens, elegant reception rooms, and even a private chapel. Whether you prefer a romantic garden ceremony or a luxurious ballroom affair, the venue can be tailored to suit your vision.
A wedding at Cashel Palace is also a feast for the senses. Under the direction of Executive Chef Stephen Hayes, the hotel’s culinary offerings are inspired by local, seasonal ingredients. Menus can be customized to reflect the couple’s tastes, with a focus on refined Irish cuisine that delights every palate. Whether it's an intimate rehearsal dinner, a celebratory brunch, or the grand reception meal, guests will enjoy a gastronomic experience that matches the beauty of the surroundings.
