Irish-American Wedding In Virginia Park Lodge

“We spent the morning looking through the preview photos and… WOW. We knew they’d be incredible with you behind the lens, but you’ve truly blown us away. They’re not only stunning and such a beautiful reflection of the day, but they also feel so us.

They captured the joy of the day perfectly, and you somehow managed to get a photo of both of our families fully smiling, which is no small feat. We were able to sit (with wine!) and watch the full slideshow projected onto our TV, and it was so fun to relive the whirlwind of the day. There were even a couple of aspects of the day that I hadn’t fully seen until your photos—it created incredible new memories.

In the flatlay photos, you captured the earrings I wore, which belonged to my grandmother here in Boston. Given her health, she wasn’t able to attend the wedding. She unfortunately passed away after we returned home, and it was an incredibly touching surprise to have her a part of our wedding photos even without her being there.”

Having spent her summers in Ireland growing up, it’s always been Tracey’s dream to get married here. Her and Steven booked the beautiful Virginia Park Lodge in Cavan for their wedding celebration and brought together their Irish and American families and friends. It was such an elegant and refined, yet very relaxed gathering of their loved ones. Think signature cocktails, pints of Guinness, lush florals, cathedral lace veil and also running around barefoot on the lawn in the evening :) I loved this mixed approach!
