Black Tie Kilshane House Wedding

What a beautiful surprise to get our wedding gallery while we are on our honeymoon!

Thank you so much for getting these across so quickly! We watched the Highlights slide show and wow, absolutely loved it! You captured the day so perfectly! The photos in the meadow are our absolute favourite - what a dream! We can’t thank you enough for these wonderful photos and being such a joy to work with!” ~ Rachel & Conor

Bride and Groom walking through a sparkler tunnel

Kilshane House is a popular wedding venue located in County Tipperary, Ireland. It's renowned for its stunning Georgian architecture, picturesque gardens, and the romantic atmosphere it offers for weddings and events. It is set in a large estate with a beautiful walled garden, woodlands, a lake, and countryside views, which provide a stunning backdrop for a wedding.

I’ve been lucky to photograph several weddings at Kilshane House, so when Rachel and Conor got in touch with me about their wedding in spring, it was a big yes from me :) Rachel and Conor are big lovers of outdoors and nature, and are both very close to their families and friends. They wanted their wedding venue and photos to reflect that.

Rachel and Conor wanted photos that capture those unguarded moments and emotions of someone - the belly laughs, action shots etc. They were not too keen on very posed shots so it’s more about capturing them as a couple as natural as possible and the overall sense of their wedding celebration.

Kilshane House Ceremony Locations

The venue offers various options for your ceremony, both indoor and outdoor. Couples have the choice to exchange vows in a light and airy conservatory or outdoors.

Kilshane House Reception

This is one of those venues which provides beautiful spaces regardless of the weather. The sun was shining for Rachel and Conor, so after the ceremony which took place in the conservatory, guests went outside for cocktails and canapes. Speeches also took place outdoors on the front porch with everyone casually standing around.

I did have some rainy weddings in Kilshane House and we used the beautiful reception drawing rooms, the grand staircase and the conservatory to create variety in the couple’s family photos and portraits.

If you are engaged and are planning on getting married in Kilshane House, get in touch to discuss photography for your day :) I would love to hear from you!
