Our wedding is going to be...: Relaxed, fun, a party to celebrate our day!
We are looking for: Some wonderful candid photographs of our beautiful family and friends, and lots of memories of our special day.
“Our main aim for this weekend is to have a big celebration which brings all of our different groups together. We are the first in our families to have a non-religious ceremony, and are hoping that will take some of the ‘stress’ of a traditional wedding day out of it. We are having a friend do the ceremony, speeches before dinner and having a first look to really try to spend time together and with everyone else. Our groups of friends and families have never really all met before, so ultimately looking for a super fun, upbeat celebration.”
Laura and Darren had one of the most relaxed weddings with the intimate first look in the drawing room of the main house before the ceremony, followed by the family photos, so afterwards they could join the drinks reception straight away and spend as much time with their guests as possible.
They didn’t want their photos to feel like a photoshoot, so we slotted mostly candid natural photos of them here and there, like the first look, taking a walk in the walled garden, practicing their first dance, sharing a drink together and checking out the orangery before all the guests walked in. They appreciated the privacy and a few quiet moments it gave them throughout the day :)
